We spent the morning volunteering at the Food
Bank. It was a wonderful experience. Our time
was spent separating and boxing food, in their
warehouse, that would later be sent out to those
in need.
One of the most interesting things of the
morning was meeting Timmy. Timmy was a
fellow volunteer (who unfortunately is not
pictured) that has been at the food bank
Monday through Friday for the last 7 1/2 years.
Timmy taught us that it doesn't take much to
help and we should take pride (not necessarily
rewards) when doing so.
